someones posted the reason behind the power outage
and said it was because of rolling blackouts
but the state of California no longer does that
that was when Eron was charing California $$ for
electricity)
reason for the power outage was a traffic accident
where a car slammed into some power poles near the
Palmdale center.

The real question is why didn't the standby generators kick in?
Some facilites didn't require it if the dual source power (from at least to
separate substations)

Rolling blackouts still do happen. It was blamed for the outage at the Hyundai Pavilion 2 weeks ago

It is in Devore, California, where the 15 and 215 meet near San Bernardino and I know because I was there.
