Hmmm, I thought Bangor (BGR/KBGR) was the "official" place for
westbound transatlantic diversions, and I read an article about the
facilities the U.S. government had built there for that -- U.S.
marshals, a special lockup, an isolated secure area for law
enforcement to board planes, etc. Plus it's pretty much the first
U.S. airport you reach on the North Atlantic route.
