Jumbo plus 6 fighter??

Twin engine jumbo just flew over our house heading west (40miles north of
San Fran)..

It was being escorted by six fighter crafts.

Any idea??

Are you positive it was a twin? I've seen KC-10s with various
fighters practicing refueling ops offshore and over the Central
Valley. Not usually 6 of them, though...
