Continental: Employees reject transport union representation

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Continental Airlines Inc. (CAL) on Thursday said its field services employees have rejected representation sought by the Transport Workers Union of America again. "We are pleased that our employees recognized the value of our direct working relationship," the company said in a statement. The union filed an election application with the National Mediation Board in August, the airline added.
