Does anyone know what the B747SP is doing at the north cargo ramp at Logan?

Sorry for the garbled email. I guess text from my BlackBerry doesn't get
through the system too well. Anyway, this was the beauty at the north
cargo ramp at BOS yesterday.

....Nothing like the Beauty I saw on the ramp on July
13 in MAN
inbound from Damascus. Syrian Air 747SP YK-AHB. It
turned quicker than our KL 737 and was directly behind
us for takeoff. AFAIK Syrian Air and Iran Air are the
only passenger ops for SP's. And they only have two
each, correcto?

747SP's kick ass for shure...........

An SAA 747SP carried me from Jo'burg to Atlanta in December 2002, with
a stop in the Cape Verde Islands). Maybe SAA sold it and its sister.

...Gerald,

I am envious, why didn't you give a (quasi) trip
report. Would LOVE to get that mileage! AFAIK, that's
gone.
